Cultivate your Thinking

"Experiences are preceded by mind, led by mind & produced by mind"
The Dhammapada: The Buddha's Path of Wisdom

We clean our bodies every day but what about the mind? I have found that a daily meditation practice is a phenomenal tool for cleansing, clearing & calming the mind.

I combine this with proactive thought cultivation. The idea that I could choose my thoughts & beliefs was a revolutionary concept to me a few years back & I have witnessed its life changing effects in my own life and the lives of my clients.

Are you engaging in a practice where you consciously choose your thoughts & beliefs?
Are the thoughts that you are choosing to think are supporting or sabotaging the vision you have for your life & business?

If not- then it could be time to create a new Thought Garden and start tending it with care and consideration.

One of my favourite pieces of writing on this topic is an essay by James Allen called "As a Man Thinketh" below is an extract...

"Man's mind may be likened to a garden, which may be intelligently cultivated or allowed to run wild; but whether cultivated or neglected, it must, and will, bring forth....Let a man radically alter his thoughts, and he will be astonished at the rapid transformation it will effect in the material conditions of his life." James Allen
